Terms of Service

1. Booking + Payment

• Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue
• Confirmation requires 70% deposit (UPI / NEFT / cheque)
• Balance 30% due on delivery before unloading
• GST invoice issued within 24 hours of move completion
• Cash payments require prior written consent + receipt

3. Liability + Insurance

• Goods-in-transit insurance: up to ₹5 crore via New India Assurance
• Insurance is OPTIONAL but strongly recommended (1.5% of declared value)
• Without insurance, our liability is capped at ₹50,000 OR 5% of move cost (whichever is lower)
• Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours with photo evidence
• Pre-existing damage (documented at pickup) is excluded

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate inventory + declared values
• Be present at both pickup + delivery (or appoint authorized representative)
• Disclose all special items (cars, ACs, fragile electronics, valuables)
• Obtain society NOCs at both ends
• Pay all agreed amounts on time

5. Disputes

Disputes shall first be attempted via direct discussion with Grewal customer service. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter may be referred to:

• Insurance ombudsman (for insurance claim disputes)
• Consumer commission (small claims under ₹1 crore)
• Civil court at Gurgaon, Haryana (jurisdiction)

6. Force Majeure

Grewal is not liable for delays or non-performance due to: natural disasters, government restrictions (e.g., COVID lockdowns), road closures, labor strikes, accidents, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

7. Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically. Booked customers are governed by the version active at time of booking.
